Hello all,
I'd like to post a few words on my experience with hairloss and BHR. At about 21 I began to lose my hair diffusely in the norwood 5 pattern and began to do some research.

Eventually I began using propecia and finasteride which luckily helped with some regrowth but more importantly kept whatever hair I had left from falling out. Not content I decided to start looking into getting a TP done. I knew about FUT but only considered it a last option, so this narrowed down my search of suitable clinics.

There are a few clinics which perform FUE in my country but only one which I seriously considered. In my opinion they were too expensive and didn't answer any of my emails. I then decided that I needed to go overseas for my TP.

After three years of research I was very specific in the questions I was asking clinics. Some never responded, one called me at home, others would give vague answers and one passed me onto three different consultants before they game me mostly one word answers.

Eventually I came across BHR, emailed them and was suprised when I recieved a response within fifteen minutes. Phil's answers were informative and to the point. I looked up there results on their website and forums and it looked good.

I had narrowed my search down to three clinics and Phil wished me luck whoever I decided to go to while another clinic was asking for my decision and sending me available dates because their bookings were filling up fast. This is what set BHR above the rest for me. I only had one week off work and considering the 48 hours of flight time to get to and from Belgium and four days in Brussels with the procedure taking up two it was an adventure to say the least.

I met up with Phil the day before the procedure and we had a good chat, I didn't really have any questions because they had been asked and answered way before I arrived in Brussels. The next day we had breakfast together and then went down to the clinic. After meeting Dr B and the team my hairline was designed, my desity checked, my head shaved and then the procedure began.

The most painful part for me was the anaesthetic injections. I didn't feel any pain during the extraction and implantation of the grafts. My hairline was done in the first day and the area behind it was filled in the next day. I got some swelling on the forhead and nose after a few days which is normal and my donor area was a bit itchy. I followed the post op instructions and thats it. I let nature do its thing and by the fifth month it was already looking good.

Its been just on two years sice I had the TP done and I'm extremely happy with my results. I was lucky enough to visit the clinic last year and was shown the same hospitality as when I first went there to have my op. I think I made a great decision in going to BHR and will happily do so again if and when the need arises. A big thanks to Phil, Dr B and the team.

Cheers,

Ang
